WALTER (WALLY) GARLINSKI
The family of Walter (Wally) Garlinski sadly announces the passing of our beloved brother, uncle, and friend on July 13, 2025, at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg.
Mourning his loss are his sisters, Anne Garlinski, Mary Morin, Liz (Mike) Martyniuk, as well as many nieces and nephews. Wally was predeceased by his siblings, Frances, Helen, Victoria, Michael, Stanley and Ronald.
After working the family farm for a time Wally pursued a career at Safeway in Dauphin, then moved to Winnipeg, Brandon and Thompson. He settled and worked as a Safeway manager in Brandon for many years until retirement. His life in Brandon was filled with many activities involving church, sports and friends.
Wally is now pain free and at peace in God’s hands. He will always live in our hearts and memories.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
