It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mum and Grandma, Mary Agnes Jones, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the age of 96 years.
Faith and family were the cornerstones of Mum’s life. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Norman (Charlene), and Susan (Robert); and her grandchildren, Ryan (Carla) and Kelsey (Kevin). She was predeceased by her husband, Norman, and her parents, George and Kathleen Niven.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her family was her pride and joy, and she enjoyed spending time with them. She also loved her dogs, Kelly, Scooter, and Max.
Cremation has taken place, and a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at St. Francis Anglican Church, 253 Burrin Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

To Norman, Susan and families... so sorry to hear the loss of your mom, Mary. We have very fond memories of growing up on Polson with her always around and all the card club gatherings over the years. My deepest condolences to my cousins Norm & Susan and their families on the passing of Auntie Mary. She was a beautiful person. Many happy memories of her at family gatherings.
