Jack passed peacefully on August 21, 2025, at Riverview Health Centre. After many difficult health challenges, he is now at peace and free of pain.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; son Jay (Sandra); ‘grands’ Skyler, Sienna, and Jett; son Michael (Tracy); ‘grandson’ Cayden, brother Brian and family; and sister Joanne.
Jack grew up in Headingley, Manitoba, where he made many lifelong friends—relationships that continued to bring joy and support throughout his life. Throughout his life Jack had a gift for connecting with people and those connections became a cherished part of his journey. He will be missed.

Hello Debbie, I’m so sorry to hear that we have lost Jack but I know he will be lovingly remembered by You, Jay and Michael. Jack and I had some great times hunting at Portage Creek and others spots in Manitoba. I will always remember his infectious smile and his ability to tell great stories. Worked with Jack a few times while we both worked part time for Fanset Construction on Snow removal and what ever and knew him from many year ago when he lived what is now called Marston Meadows and he was a joy to work with, with is never ending humour and that great smile he often sent me jokes etc. on the internet and will miss those times, rest in peace Jack as you earned it! - Posted by: Brian Graham (Friend and Co- worker) on: Aug 31, 2025
