The family of Ed Morrison announce his passing on August 26, 2025.
Ed was born in Winnipeg to parents Ken and Marion Morrison and became part of a wonderful family with sisters Eleanor and Ina.
Except for 15 years in Winnipeg, MB and 15 years in Regina, SK, Ed spent all his life in Warren, MB.
From his earliest days Ed loved maps and dreamt of travel. A world traveler he had adventures in the four corners of the earth. He loved sports and played volleyball to age 50, softball to age 60 and curling till age 70. Ed shared the love of Sports and the Arts equally.
Ed graduated with a BA in 1966 and his L.L.B. degree in 1973 and became the Assistant City Solicitor of the City of Regina.
He was a long-time member of Toastmasters serving on the Board of Governors, of Winnipeg United Way and as Civic Chairman of Regina United Way.
In 1979 he was chosen as the Winnipeg rep. for an exchange program to Japan by Rotary International.
Ed enjoyed the unconditional love of his pet dogs throughout the years.
A private graveside memorial will be held at the Warren Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
