Joyce passed away August 21, 2025, at age 84.
In keeping with Joyce's wishes a private interment was held with all her close family in attendance.
The family would like to thank the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge 5th floor for their care, kindness, and compassion shown to Joyce during her most difficult time.

Friday March 13, 2026. Joyce and I met each other in high school (St Mary’s Academy) and became fast friends. Joyce introduced me to her friend, Richard Kolodie, whom I later married. As years passed us by, getting married and having children we lost touch. Having Joyce as my friend brought me some of the best memories of my life. We reconnected after finding Joyce and her family at Winnipeg Beach. By this time we both had older children. That was really the last time we saw each other.
