Sharalyn (Shelly) June McComb (nee Clark) passed peacefully on July 27, 2025.
Predeceased by loving husband Errol McComb (March 13, 2019), Shelly is remembered as loving mother of son Mark and daughter Terry (Erin); brother David (Fay); and grandchildren, Bleuet and Romain.
Born October 27, 1941, Shelly held dear her memories of “adventures” in Northern Manitoba in the 70s and 80s, when she and Errol spent years in small hydro towns. She often deflected challenges with tales of raising two young children in the wild - surrounded by black bears, buried in trailer-high snow, and isolated in deep wilderness.
Shelly leaves behind dear friends Elaine Didyk (d. Steve) and Friederike Rigert (d. Rolf), who helped make many memories in the Great North before returning to Winnipeg. Together they continued the traditions of many great evenings, trips to Phoenix, and Sunday dinners.
