To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die;

a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

a time to kill, and a time to heal;

a time to break down,

and a time to build up;

a time to weep, and a time to laugh;

a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;

a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

a time to get, and a time to lose;

a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

a time to rend, and a time to sew;

a time to keep silence,

and a time to speak;

a time to love, and a time to hate;

a time of war, and a time of peace.

– Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I was fortunate to know Darlene from the time both our families were very young. Deepest condolences to her family. Her family was very important to her. Darlene was generous, unafraid of challenges and hard work, and determined to live life on her terms. She saw the humour in everything, and was able to laugh through whatever hand she was dealt, good and bad. I will miss our long and frequent conversations and continue to be grateful for our friendship. Thanks for the memories, Darlene. - Posted by: Claudette Laurie (Friend) on: Oct 11, 2025

  • Worked with Darlene for many years. Darlene loved to laugh, she was a helpful, friendly individual who will be missed. We remained in touch for all the years since we worked together. To her children and her grandchildren, let there be no doubt that your Mother / Grandmother loved each of you deeply. This was evident when she spoke of you, she was so proud of each of you. May Darlene Rest in Peace!! My thoughts and prayers to her family. - Posted by: Judy Friesen (Friend / Co Worker) on: Oct 06, 2025
