RITA MARGARITA BORROMEO LEIMAN

March 30, 1943 - October 10, 2025

In Loving Memory of

With great sadness and love, we share that Rita passed away on October 10, 2025. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, laughter, and family - the things she valued most in life.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband Les, her daughter Trisha, and her son Jason. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Nachelle, Nicaela, Joshua, Rylee, Kenzie, Jaidan, and Evan, each of whom held a very special place in her heart.

Rita was the heart of our family - always ready with a warm smile, a kind word, and open arms. She made every gathering brighter, every challenge easier, and every moment more meaningful. Her love, strength, and gentle spirit will continue to guide us every day.

Though she is no longer with us, her memory lives on in the stories we share, the traditions she started, and the love she poured into our lives.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date for family and friends to gather in remembrance.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or to St. Joseph the Worker Church (Transcona) in Rita’s memory.

Forever in our hearts,

The Leiman Family

Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • We were sad to hear of Rita's passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences to Les and the family. Our favorite memories of her involve camping many years ago when our children and their children were about the same age. Sitting around the campfire enjoying each others company and sharing food together (especially Rita's spring rolls). We'll miss her but know we will see her again as she enjoys her rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. - Posted by: Ray & Paulette Gauvreau (Friend) on: Oct 31, 2025

Rita was such a warm-hearted spirit who embraced everyone she met with loving, open arms. So many fond memories of dinners, playing cards at the lake, and just sitting around visiting.
