Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • We are so sorry to hear about Sylvia's passing. I grew up with Sylvia and Emile and always saw how much they loved each other. I have many wonderful memories of them. She is with Jesus and his angels and her loved ones who are no longer with us. Heaven has been blessed by another very special angel called Sylvia. Emile and your children and grandchildren are so blessed to have her in your lives. There is no greater love than the love of a mother for her children and we are sure they felt her love everyday. Rest in peace our dear friend. God bless you and your loved ones. With Love and Respect, Sylvia and Gordon Bowen (nee Dowhy). - Posted by: Sylvia and Gordon Bowen, nee Dowhy (School mate in Vita) on: Oct 25, 2025

  • My sincere condolences to Emile and all the family. Sylvia was a lovely, warm soul, and with Emile, raised a beautiful family! Be assured of the prayers of our Sisters, and of the extended family, whom I've been able to inform, for Sylvia's repose, and for your consolation. Vichna jij pamjat'! - Posted by: Sr. Christine Dudych, SSMI (second cousin) on: Oct 25, 2025

  • Sylvia and Emile were the caretakers of the building we moved into in Sept 1965. They were both very nice, kind & caring people. Sylvia was a wonderful cook and baker. I send my condolences to Emile and the rest of the family. - Posted by: Diane Turner (Previous neighbour) on: Oct 25, 2025

  • We had moved to Winnipeg and had lived next to door to St. Anne’s. As parishioners we got to know the Picklyk family, who were very involved in parish life. Savella as I called her, had a kind and beautiful soul. Our deepest condolences to her family. Z. Bohom. - Posted by: Petro and Hania Woloszanskyj (Past parishioners) on: Oct 25, 2025
