I am very saddened to learn of Vic Bonin’s passing. I was his student teacher in 1970 and consequently became his colleague from then until 1982. I have nothing but the utmost respect and gratitude for his tutelage during my “stage” in his French classroom and later as I signed my contract during my first two weeks of student teaching. I had a gratifying twenty- one year career thanks to Vic’s beginning and the practice in an all boys’ grade nine class! May he rest in peace after influencing so many students so very positively. - Posted by: Lana Thiessen- Storey (former student teacher and colleague at Andrew Mynarski Junior High School) on: Nov 01, 2025
