Dora Veronica Job, our Dorita, drifted painlessly beyond the veil on November 2, 2025. Smart, fiery, loving and beautiful, she lived a full and vibrant life right until the last moment.
The speed of her short battle with cancer shocked all of us, and helped us cherish every minute at her bedside. We spent hours sharing funny anecdotes, crazy memories and typical Chilean humour.
On her last day, Dora sat up dispensing stories and advice from her hospital bed. Fourteen of us watched her show the same passion, humour, and love we’ve always known and adored her for.
A beautiful and strong woman, a mother, a wife, a big sister, a daughter, an auntie, a beloved cousin. She was the brightest light in our lives, true to her faith, her family and herself.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Park Memorial Reception Centre, 11015 - 101 Street NW, Edmonton.
