Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I have known Alan since we were 12 years old. He was an extraordinary mentsch. Despite living thousands of miles apart for over 48 years he would always check in to see how I was doing. His resilience in the face of adversity was extraordinary. He left an elegant impression on everyone who had the privilege of calling him a friend. His passion for life and the human condition was inspiring. He was so proud of his family and loved them intensely. May his memory always be a comfort and blessing to his family. - Posted by: Daniel Shinoff (Friend) on: Jan 08, 2026

  • Alan was a truly outstanding, honest, ethical, intelligent and compassionate person. He will be truly missed. I will always remember him for the excellent contributions he made to the University Health Network when we were working in Human Resources there. He was a true inspiration to me and members in the Hospital along with the Human Resources Department members. He will be truly missed, but not forgotten. I am truly sorry that I wouldn't be able to attend his funeral given my present medical condition. However, I plan to pass this information to other individuals he knew. - Posted by: Victor Trotman (He was one of my truly great friend.) on: Jan 08, 2026
