HEATHER WILSON
Born and raised in West Vancouver, B.C. and enjoyed many happy years in Brandon, MB. Passed peacefully on January 23, 2026, at Assiniboine Centre. Leaving to cherish Heather’s memory are husband Harry, daughter Lucy, sister-in-law Janet Johnson and husband Trevor as well as a long list of close friends and acquaintances in British Columbia, Manitoba and the U.S.
Heather faced her cancer diagnosis with stoicism and pragmatism. We would like to sincerely thank the Western Manitoba Cancer Centre staff, especially Drs. Anderson and Kristjanson, for the excellent care and support provided to Heather. A special thank you to friends Cathy and David Greenwood, Colleen Liddle, Jocelyn Funk and Suzanne Koop for your kindness during a difficult time.
No service by request. To honour Heather’s memory please enjoy some fine dining and raise a glass of wine for a toast with family and friends. Alternatively a donation to the Western Manitoba Cancer Centre in Brandon in Heather’s name would be greatly appreciated.
