With broken hearts we are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our mom Kathryn at her home on February 16, 2026 at the age of 73.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in her honour at Four Crowns Restaurant and Bar, 1030 McPhillips Street on March 5th from 1:30-6:00 p.m.

  • Our condolences from Fortney and Pasternak family. I will dearly miss Kathyrn as she was one of my best friends. Kathy and I visited each other for hours or spoke on the phone. Kathy would tell in detail about each of her adult children down to all the grand-children and great granddaughter-children. Kathy loved her Eugene and the family so much very proud of everybody’s accomplishments too. Kathyrn was such a special unique person that I had the pleasure of knowing for so many years.
