It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Nash J.H. Prystie on March 9, 2026, at the age of 39 at Ena Lake, Ontario. Born on January 21, 1987, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Nash was a beacon of warmth and kindness, and resilience, whose life touched many and whose spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Nash had a life long passion for the natural world instilled by his father and grandfather. An avid outdoorsman, Nash found joy and solace amidst the wonders of nature. Nash had a green thumb for house plants and his vegetable garden which he used for his culinary expertise in his cooking and baking.
Nash was a cherished family man, surrounded by his grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Those who knew Nash will remember him for his kindness, infectious laughter and the gentle strength that he exhibited in every facet of his life. As we remember Nash, we celebrate a life that had once been filled with adventure, love, and enduring connection to the world around him. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to guide us like the stars that light up the night sky, always present, always shining.
A memorial service to honour and celebrate Nash's life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, Winnipeg at 10:00 a.m. on March, 27, 2026.
