Anita Marie Kroeker was born on May 8, 1943. "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends”. This is what Anita did so consistently and beautifully for her entire life. On March 20, 2026, we lost the person who had sacrificed so much for those who called her mom, friend, sister and wife.
Anita’s family would like to express enormous gratitude to the staff of Pembina Place PCH where she was treated with incredible care for the final 3 months of her life. A memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on March 27, 2026, at Braeside Church, 1011 Munroe Ave, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Youth for Christ and Inner City Youth Alive .
