It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Rempel, late of Regina, SK, on Friday, April 24, 2026, at the age of 83 years.
Jerry was born in Winnipeg, MB. He is survived by his wife Barbara; son Jay (Sacha) and grand-daughter Ava; as well as sister Rhonda St. Germaine of Winnipeg, MB.
The family would like to thank the staff of Tatagwa View for the wonderful care they have provided Jerry over the past six months.

I met Jerry (and Barb) through our kids' hockey and that grew into a friendship beyond the various rinks. We shared a few road trips related to hockey and many breakfasts with them post-hockey. Passionate would be the best single term I could apply to Jerry. Whether it was that hockey game, winning or losing, chatting about his family or their trips to Ottawa, Jerry never lacked passion. He was fully invested in everything he did and that's what really made him the likeable, entertaining, dear friend he was.
