Sheila Dolinski (McNamara) was born in Carman, Manitoba, in 1934. Her parents, Patrick (born in Wexford, Ireland) and Mary McNamara (nee Burns; born in Blackburn, Lancashire, England), came to Manitoba in 1924. Her father was the local village blacksmith in the town of Carman. One of the oldest skilled farriers/blacksmiths in Manitoba. Sheila was the youngest of three other siblings (two brothers, Reginald and Desmond, and one sister, Ellen). Sheila married her husband Edward 0. Dolinski was in her 20s, but he passed away early in his life in 1970. She raised her two children alone, Darlene Winnipeg, MB (born 1955) and Blair Kenora, ON (born 1960), married to Jane, one granddaughter, Christina, married to Shawn and one great-grandson, Chase.
