Our Dad, Richard Staub, was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2026, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born to Molly (nee Weitzel) and George Staub on August 11, 1936, in Makaroff, MB. His family moved to Togo, SK when he was 5 and he spent his early years there playing lots of baseball and hockey. He was very sporty and was always moving and playing throughout all stages of his life.
Richard joins his wife Kathy in Heaven and many other loved ones who have gone before him. He is survived by his three daughters, Jodi Kornelsen and her partner Manuel Ball, Kristi Anaka and her partner Kurt Anaka and Tara Rempel and her partner Jeremy Rempel, as well as his grandchildren, Jeremiah (Paige), Lily (Nathan), Jude, Cian and Theo. He is also survived by his sister Delores Vammen and many nieces and nephews.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life and reception to follow on Saturday May 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at McIvor Mennonite Church, 200 McIvor Avenue. Everyone is welcome to celebrate the life of our father.
