Beloved wife, mom, and “Gummy”, Diana passed away peacefully in the early morning of Thursday May 21, at Selkirk District Health Centre, just two days shy of her 89 birthday, grateful for the life she lived after fighting like a champion through some health struggles over the past year. She will be deeply missed.
She leaves to mourn her passing, sons Jeff (Arlene), Kelly, and Mike (Susie), her grandchildren Alexa (Gord), Madi, Jack, Sam and Steffi, and great-grandchildren Henry and Nora, and numerous nieces and nephews. We would extend our gratitude to mom's driver, Geri, and the amazing staff at Selkirk District Health Centre who made her last days the best they could be.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral as per her wishes. Hold your loved ones close, Gummy would say “you only have today”, so to honour her, please embrace those words.
