BETTY LOVEDAY
Betty Loveday (Verheul), age 92, passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy of care, quiet strength & devotion to her family.
Born in Selkirk, she graduated from St. Boniface School of Nursing in 1954 and built a long, meaningful career in the OR. In 1955, she married the love of her life, Fred Loveday, & together they raised three children.
Upon retirement, her expertise led her to help establish Western Surgery Center in Winnipeg. She volunteered with La Sertoma, golfed at the Canoe Club, & summered at the cottage on LOW. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, her baking legendary.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, & all who knew her.
Service will be held on Monday, June 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please give to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.
