Sadly, Gary passed away suddenly on July 9, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving behind his life partner of 55 years, Cathy Van de Vorst.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of Gary’s life on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg.

My sincere condolences to Cathy as well as to family and friends. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I enjoyed curling against and with Gary at the Granite Curling Club.
