It is with deep sadness that our family announces that Sid Rogers died Tuesday evening July 14, 2026, of a sudden and unexpected heart attack. He was 80 years old.

Sidney always came in to Salisbury house with his 2 friends with a big smile on his face. They were always a pleasure to serve and we had many laughs together. I will miss you Sidney. Sid was the longest serving member of the Community Living Manitoba Human Rights Committee. Sid was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humour. He was patient, wise and generous with the knowledge he had accumulated over his many years in the world of intellectual and developmental disability.
