Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUNEY (DOLLY) ANDREA BERGMAN (nee ANDERSON) Born on December 2, 1906 in Calgary, Alberta, Runey (Dolly) Bergman passed away on July 31, 1999 at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, Man. Dolly was predeceased by her husband John; youngest son Marvin in 1998 and four brothers and two sisters. Dolly will be sadly missed by sons, Ronald T. and Delvin; grandchildren, Dennis and Randy Bergman of Winnipeg, Janet Pilazow of Dryden, Ont., Ronald M., Bruce and John A. Bergman of Winnipeg and Karen E. Bergman and Leslie A. Abrams of Denver, Colorado. Also left to mourn are her great-grandchildren, Michelle and Lindsay Pilazow of Dryden, Ont., Agnes and Robin Bergman of Winnipeg, and Lauren Abrams of Denver, Colorado. She will also be missed by many friends and extended family including her dear cousin Vivian (Halgrimson) Houlse of Delta, B.C. (whom she considered a daughter) and family friend Bert Rusby whom she considered her fourth son. In Dollys lifetime she lived in Calgary, Alta., Fairford, Man., Winnipeg and Flin Flon from 1932 to 1944, and Winnipeg again until the late 1960s when she and her husband moved to Delta, B.C. and then returned to Winnipeg. Dolly worked for many years at the Glass House in Winnipeg and Woodwords in Vancouver, B.C. Dolly loved to entertain, loved to play cards and bingo and loved to go out for lunch. Funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 7 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook Street, with visitation one half hour prior to service. Interment Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
