DONNA IRENE LAPP (nee GRIFFITHS) Peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2000 Donna Lapp passed away. Dearly loved Donna will be remembered by George, her beloved husband of 35 years; and her two sons, Ren Lapp and his wife Terry, and David Lapp; Jo Harney, sister-in-law of San Antonio, Texas and Shirley Lapp, stepdaughter of Winnipeg also survive Donna. Her parents Ted and Minnie Griffiths predeceased Donna. Donna was born April 11, 1933. Donna and George enjoyed 25 years at their cottage in Matlock, Man. Donnas greatest joy was "yard-saling" every Saturday morning. Donna was an active member in Daughter of the Nile since 1967. Donna and her mother enjoyed their time together doing crafts for the special project of Daughter of the Nile. The family wishes to thank all of the friends and family who tirelessly extended kindness, generosity, concern and love. Donna was especially fortunate to have her three special angels, Maggie, Norma, and Vera. In accordance with Donnas wishes, no formal service will be held. Cremation has taken place and inurnment has been made in Garry Memorial Park Columbarium. The family will receive friends at the Masonic Memorial Temple at 420 Corydon from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 19 at which time a celebration of Donnas life will take place. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Donnas memory to The Masonic Foundation of Manitoba for Masons Care, 420 Corydon Ave., Winnipeg, Man., R3L 0N8.
