FLORENCE DION (nee ROY) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother Florence at the age of 93, on April 9, 2002. She passed away peacefully with her family at her side. Florence was predeceased by her daughter Denise in 1993, her parents, Evelina and Joseph Roy; five sisters and five brothers. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Romeo of 64 years, her daughters, Lorraine (Pete) Bidinost, and Suzanne (Charles) Gauthier; son Robert (Terry) Dion; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and son-in-law Rene Gauthier; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Viewing will take place Monday, April 15 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Eugene Church, 1007 St. Marys Rd. with funeral mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. also in the church. Interment will be in Glenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank Dr. Phillip Erhard, nurses and staff on 6A at St. Boniface Hospital.
