IVY R. CHAPMAN (nee SHIPMAN) 1902 - 2002 Our aunt Ivy passed away peacefully Sunday, September 8, 2002 at the Maples Personal Care Home. Ivy was predeceased by her husband Howard and all of her brothers and sisters. Ivy celebrated her 100th birthday on January 9, 2002 with nieces, nephews and friends. Our aunt Ivy was a very active and strong-willed individual. She worked as a private secretary to the age of 76 and drove a car until she was 94. A great reader with a fantastic memory, she could still recite poetry at 100 years of age and tell us stories of her childhood in London, England. Cremation has taken place and a private family service is being held. Lovingly remembered by all her nieces and nephews.
