Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE VICTORIA WALKER MAY 24, 1922 - MARCH 24, 2005 It is with great sadness that we the family of Alice Walker announce her passing on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at the Park Manor Personal Care Home at the age of 82. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Morice Walker. She will also be sadly missed by her son Bruce (Joanne) Walker and her daughter Kimberley (Allan) Dawydiuk and granddaughters, Mandy (Allan) McKenzie, Amber Kirkness, Jolene Kirkness, and Danielle Walker and great-granddaughter Mya Kirkness-McKenzie. Alice also leaves to mourn her sister Louise (Gordon) Quistberg; sister-in-law Dorothy Greenwood; brothers-in-law David (Betty) Walker, Stuart (Peggy) Walker; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. During her life mom enjoyed camping, bowling, travelling and animals. She belonged to the Transcona United Church and the Independent Order of Forresters. But nothing compared to her love of spending time with family and friends. There are so many special memories we all have of mom and would love to share with her loved ones. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy # 1 East at Navin Road. Reception to follow.
