BEVERLY JOAN SYLVESTRE (nee MAYO) January 15, 1934 - October 5, 2005 After a long battle with cancer, it is with great sadness to announce the passing of our mom, peacefully at home on October 5, 2005. Beverly is predeceased by her two brothers, twin sisters, father Sid and mother Katherine. She leaves to mourn her six children and Jim, two sisters, three brothers, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and friends. Beverly was a lifetime member of the ANAF No. 283. She served the community with the Ladies Auxiliary for 35 years. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was a strong woman who faced adversary with a positive outlook. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. A celebration of her life will be held at the Banquet Hall of ANAF No. 283, 3584 Portage Ave., on Tuesday, October 11 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca.
