No sympathies, Michael, but rather congratulations and a certain spiritual envy that you have a saint in heaven praying for you non-stop now. I remember Phyllis so well from my childhood... I see so clearly your Mom in the little Minnedosa kitchen with Phyllis close beside her, quiet, watchful and always helping. The Church in her wisdom teaches that those with Downe Syndrome cannot sin, which means that Phyllis has gone arrow-straight to where she can pray for us all without ceasing. How good God is to call her in time for Christmas celebrations in heaven! God bless you. - Posted by: Sr. Michaila Kwiatkowski, SSJ (Family) on: Dec 20, 2005
