ANIELA (ANGELA) SZWARC Peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2005, Aniela (Angela), our beloved mother and Babcia, passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, at the age of 104 and was welcomed into the arms of Our Lord. Aniela was predeceased by her husband Joseph; daughter Krystyna and her husband Frank Partyka and daughter Joan Hoszowski. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Mary (Stanley) Kaszuba and Anne; sons, Stanley (Diana), Rev. Jacob, O.M.I. and Walter (Adele); son-in-law Zbigniew Hoszowski; 25 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Aniela was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1951. Throughout her life, she manifested a great devotion to God and the Blessed Virgin Mary. She would spend many hours in prayer and spiritual reading. It was her deep faith that sustained her throughout her life, a faith that she instilled in her family. She was a member of Holy Ghost Church, the Secular Order of St. Francis and the Rosary Sodality. Aniela was known for her radiant smile and warm hospitality. She particularly enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and baking. Family was extremely important to Aniela. She loved and was very proud of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. Their visits and family gatherings always brought her much joy. She will be sadly missed by us all. Prayers will be said on Monday, December 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 27 at 12:00 noon at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. Her son, Rev. Fr. Jacob Szwarc, will be the main celebrant. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aniela's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
