THOMPSON 1926 - 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, husband and grampa in the afternoon on Christmas Day, December 25, 2005. Jim is survived by his wife LaDonna (Evans); his daughters, Gayle and Gerri (John); and his grandchildren, Stephanie and Mitch Grassi; and Julia Wong Ken. He is also survived by his three brothers, Chuck (Kathleen), Don (Kay) and Russ (Margaret), all of Winnipeg. Jim was predeceased by his son Jim; his parents, Helen and George; and his brother Laurie. Jim was employed as a livestock buyer with Canada Packers for 35 years, retiring in 1986. He started his career in Winnipeg and worked in Moose Jaw, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Calgary. Dad always had a story to tell that kept us laughing. As requested by Jim there will be no service. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
