Change of Time and Date of Service WILHELMINA (MINNIE) TABOR Peacefully on January 30, 2006, our beloved mother Minnie Tabor passed away at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home. Born Wilhelmina Schmidt on January 25, 1920, in Waldersey, MB, she later moved to Winnipeg, where she resided until her death. Married for 61 years, she goes to join husband Peter who passed away September 23, 2003. She will be tremendously missed by daughters Linda (Chuck) Janzen, and Eleanor (Jake) Dueck; grandchildren, Clint, Candice, and Regan; great-grandchildren, Cody, Hailey, and Luke as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mom was employed at Eatons part time for many years until she retired to join Dad in his retirement. All who knew mom loved her. She was the heart and soul of our family - the glue that held us together when things got tough. She loved her flower garden and when not puttering there, she was going through her recipe books choosing new desserts for us. She was a great cook and a great listener and her patience knew no bounds. Our fondest memories are family and friends seated around our kitchen table laughing and sharing funny and tender moments that took place in our lives. We sincerely thank the staff at the Bethania Personal Care Home for their compassion and the tender care they took with mom, and with us as well. A service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2006 in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home 220 Hespeler Ave. @ Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donations may made to the Winnipeg Humane Society 5 Kent St. Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler @ Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
