DARWIN ALEXANDER SYLVESTER On Thursday, February 2, 2006, Darwin passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 78 years. Leaving to cherish Darwin's memory are his wife Shirley; son Richard (Heather); daughters Debbie Peters (Abe) and Susan Robertson (Wes); brother Maurice (Wilma); sister-in-law Karla; 16 grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Evabelle, son Tom and brother Stanley. In 1956, Darwin and Shirley were married in Winnipeg. He started working for McLeods and retired in 1985 after 24 years of service. Some of Darwin's pastimes included golfing, visiting with his grandchildren and taking photographs. He especially enjoyed reading. A Celebration of Darwin's Life will be held on Friday, February 10 at 3:00 p.m. in the St. James Legion No. 4, 1755 Portage Avenue. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Darwin's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or to CancerCare. Darwin's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
