Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAT D. SYMKO (1929 - 2006) It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Pat D. Symko on February 23, 2006. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Beattie Key; sisters, Margaret, Molly and Shirley; and brothers, Frank, Nelson and Mark; and by her husband Alexander (Chick) with whom she had a loving and interesting relationship with many interests in common. They travelled extensively, following the World Curling Championship, meeting many interesting people along the way. Pat served on the Executives of Pine Ridge Golf Club and Elmwood and St. John's Curling Clubs. She enjoyed painting, writing and gardening, and in her retirement years she spent many happy hours taking part in the various programs at the Good Neighbours Senior Centre, and golfing at Kildonan Park Golf Course. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, or to the Capital Fund of Good Neighbours Senior Centre, 755 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R2K 2K5.
