RONALD NELSON TAPP Peacefully on February 27, 2006, with his loving wife and family by his side, Ron left this world and was reunited with his mother, father, brother and other friends and relatives who departed this earth before him. Left to continue Ron's legacy are his wife Rose and five children, Brieanne (Jeremy), Conor (Annie), Kaeleen (Justin), Lisa (Tim) and Terry (Gail), as well as his nine grandchildren and surviving siblings, sister Judy and brothers, Glenn and Ken. Ron's presence is also sadly missed in the places he loved the most, including the Lancaster Building in Calgary, AB, where he took great pride as the building engineer before moving back home to Winnipeg in the late 1990s. Ron most recently dedicated his time and energy at the Silver Lion Apartments, Allmar Distributors and Wal-Mart on Regent Avenue. Ron fought his battle with cancer with dignity and acceptance. He taught all of those around him what it truly means to earn respect by never quitting. Throughout his battle, he was a comforting voice of reason to those around him who now know what it means to be a true hero and survivor. Before Ron passed, he expressed how proud he was of his family's growth and accomplishments. His family would like to echo that statement - we are so very proud of you Babe, Dad, Daddy, Bro, Uncle, Grandfar, Grandpa, Buddy. In lieu of flowers, may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. A celebration of Ron's 52 years of life will held on Saturday, March 4, at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
