PAUL COLEMAN TAPLEY On Tuesday, June 13, 2006 Paul Tapley died at the age of 55. He is survived by his mother Margaret (Peg) Tapley; his daughter Shannon (Geoff) Baldwin; and granddaughters, Riley and Gentry. Paul is also survived by his sisters, Laura (Marshall) Bailey and Rae Harris and their families. His father Martin predeceased him, in 2002. Paul was born in Winnipeg on October 14, 1950 and later moved to Brandon with his family. He excelled in sports, playing baseball and basketball in school and on community teams. An avid golfer, Paul played the game throughout his life. After residing in the United States, Paul returned to Winnipeg in 1992. The family would like to thank his many friends, particularly Jim Penner and Randy Cruikshank who assisted Paul in so many ways in the last months of his illness. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Friends wishing, may make a donation in Paul's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
