PAUL THORDARSON Peacefully on June 20, 2006, after a brief battle with cancer, Paul past away with his family at his side at the age of 86. He leaves to mourn his passing sons Bob (Carol), Sam, Doug (Wendy), and Rick; his only daughter Ade; his sister Josie (Hernut); also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his wife Margaret; parents Helgi and Disa; brothers Sveni, Eric, Leifi, and Bjorgvin; sisters Edna and Anna and daughter-in-law Sharon. Special thanks to the palliative care workers for making dad's last days more comfortable. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 26, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancercare Foundation. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
