ANNA TAWAR (nee PARADA) After a brief illness, Anna, the seventh of 13 children was born March 3, 1915 in Ledwyn, MB on the family homestead (SE-18-23-3E) to Paul and Katherine Parada, passed away January 2, 2007 at the Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. Much like her sisters, Anna moved from the farm to the City of Winnipeg to work as a domestic. She particularly enjoyed working for the Dr. Jacob Holenburg family for many years. Anna leaves to mourn her passing two sisters Stephanie Douglas, Marion Drystek both of Winnipeg, numerous nieces, nephews. A graveside service was held Saturday, January 6 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Ledwyn, MB and was officiated by Fr. Michael Raj Savarimuthu.
