DIANE LYNN THOMPSON In the early hours of Saturday, May 12, 2007, our sweet Diane Lynn was granted her angel wings. With Diane's passing we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss her everyday, she will forever remain in our hearts. Remaining to forever cherish Diane's memory are her devoted mother and father Nehemia (Amy) and Lloyd Thompson; her special Auntie Deena who was like a second Mom to her; as well as numerous Weiss and Thompson family members and friends. Diane was born in Brandon, MB on July 26, 1944. As a child, Diane attended the Kinsmen Centre School and later was happily employed at Versa Tech Industries for more than 30 years. Diane loved her job and made many wonderful friends both at Versa Tech and King Transportation through out the years. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m. in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue. Those wishing to attend, please gather at the Cemetery entrance at 9:45 a.m. and follow behind the Wojcik's white Funeral Hearse. The family would like to thank the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Services, and the Winnipeg Police Officers who responded so quickly with much consideration and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba Inc., 10 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
