WILLARD STANLEY THOMPSON Willard Thompson peacefully passed away at age 64 in Winnipeg. Willard was predeceased by his father Willie Thompson. He is survived by his mother Anne, stepfather Campbell and his sisters, Mary and Myrtle (Florian) all from Winnipeg. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Even if Willard wasn't playing cards or bingo he took full advantage of every moment of his life. He enjoyed spending time at his mom's house with family. Willard was diagnosed with Cancer in 2005 which he bravely faced and won. Willard will be missed by all. Services will be held on Friday, May 25 at 12:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will be at Brookside Cemetery. Prayers will be held on Thursday, May 24 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel. The family would like to thank Cropo for all their help and support as well as all family members and friends. My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.
