Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN THOMPSON On Saturday, May 26, 2007, at St. Boniface Hospital, Norman Thompson, aged 78 years, beloved husband of Verna Evelyn Thompson, passed away peacefully. Besides his wife Verna, Norman will also be sadly missed by his children, Marilyn (Patrick) Deery, Carol Elaine (Carol Joseph) St. Amand and James M. Thompson (Lisa); by his grandchildren, Patrick (Luanne), Eileen Catherine, and Erin Deery and Celine St. Amand; by his great-granddaughter Aibhlinn Deery; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Herbert G. E. Thompson; his mother Winnifred Marjorie Erb; his brother Bradbury (Helen); his sister Winnifred (John) and by his brother Harold (Victoria). Norman was a member of the TD Retirees, having retired as a banker from the TD Canada Trust, after 41 years of service. He was also a member of the South Family Y (RPPC), Scouts Canada, Canadian Ski Patrol System and Windsor Park United Church. Public visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin Road. A service of remembrance will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 1 at Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Dr., with Rev. Dr. Sharon Wilson officiating.
