Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE PEARL THORKELSON Peacefully, on June 3, 2007, Alice Pearl Thorkelson passed on with her loving husband, Kris, daughter Sherry, and grandchildren, Ryan and Lynnea by her side. The youngest child of Edmond and Alice Watson, she was born December 28, 1916 at Scotch Bay, Manitoba. She married Kris on October 25, 1947 and they farmed together for 40 years in the Swan Creek District. They retired to Lundar, Manitoba in 1987. In her spare time, Alice loved to read and write letters. She was also an avid gardener with a passion for begonias and peonies. It was always her pleasure to host family and friends for an afternoon tea. Predeceased by her eight brothers and one sister, Alice leaves a multitude of loved nieces and nephews and their extended families. A special thank you to the nurses and staff of the Lundar Personal Care Home for their dedicated care over the last two years. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at the Lundar Municipal Cemetery, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the E.M.
