Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIRGINIO TAVARES Peacefully with family, on Saturday, June 16, 2007, Virginio Tavares passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 95 years. Besides his loving wife of 61 years, Irondina (nee Cordeiro), he leaves to mourn his sons, Virginio (Maria Ines), Joao Manuel (Maria Rosa), Jose Luis (Maria Natalia), Venicio (Margarida), Horacio (Barbara); daughters, Jorgina (Antonio), Natalia (Randall), 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, along with his one sister and two nieces. Virginio was born in Sao Miguel, Acores in 1912. He immigrated to Canada in 1972. Virginio was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The family would like to thank St. Boniface Hospital, the doctors and staff and the home care providers. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, June 19 at 7:45 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street North. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 20 at 10:00 a.m., also at the church with The Very Reverend Father José Eduardo Medeiros, V.F. officiating. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
