Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUDITH THOMPSON Peacefully, at Lions Manor on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 Judy Thompson went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Judy leaves to mourn her sisters, Mary (George) Friesen, Susan (Abe) Schellenberg, Katherine, Ann (Joe) Belton, Helen (Edward) Hughes; sister-in-law Mary (John) Klassen; and step-daughter Jean Thompson. Judy was predeceased by her husband Gordon; sister Susanna, brother John; and parents Abraham and Susanna Klassen. Judy was also loved and will be missed by a wide circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Judy was born in Rosengart, Manitoba, in 1922. She accepted the Lord Jesus as her Saviour in 1953 and enjoyed fellowship at Grant Memorial Baptist Church for many years. Special thanks to Doctor Vanamyde and staff for excellent care, and to all Lions Manor staff for their loving care. A burial service was held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, on Thursday, July 12, at 3:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Lions Manor, 320 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2007. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. (New Testament: 2 Corinthians 5.)
