NORMA (SYLVIA) GRACE TIMLICK (nee ANDERSON) Darlene Recksiedler is greatly saddened to announce the passing of Norma Sylvia Grace Timlick at Vista Park Lodge on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Albert Timlick, brother Harold Anderson and sister Marie Anderson. Sylvia is survived by her extended family, Gord and Darlene Recksiedler, Raelene (Jared) Kellner and daughters Julie (Matt) and Savannah, Victor and Cecile Seminchuk, Vickie and Jim Pedersen and their children Arlene, Julie and Myron. Sylvia at a young age was brought up in Dominion City area and then as she got older they left the farm and moved to the Springfield Transcona area where she rode horseback to and from school every day, three miles each way. Sylvia loved her home, keeping it meticulous, as well as her garden. She loved to travel with her brother Harold. She was a good companion to her brother and he was good to her, especially after Albert died of a heart attack at work. Sylvia was a private person but was very friendly to all who knew her. She always told me she was waiting for the return of the Lord. She was a lady of Great Faith and knew her bible well. We all love you Sylvia and will miss you so much. Sylvia was a very giving person. She was like a mom to Darlene as she lost her mom when she was only 30. Absent from the body Present with the Lord Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Green Acres Funeral Home Hwy#1 East at Navin Rd. with a lunch to follow.
