Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA SZENDREI (nee HIDVEGI) After a courageous battle with cancer over two years, Maria passed away peacefully on February 23, 2008, at the age of 68. Maria was born May 10, 1939. She immigrated to Canada in 1957 from Hungary with her husband. Maria will be lovingly remembered by her husband Lajos Louie of 51 years, son Tibor, grandson Adam, daughter-in-law Lynne, three stepgrandsons Ryan, Sheldon and Cory, brothers Sándor and family and János in Hungary, three sisters in Budapest Piri, Klári Zsuzsa, as well as numerous nephews and nieces in Hungary, England, Australia and Canada and many friends in Winnipeg and BC. Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Hungarian Roman Catholic Parish, 365 Burnell St., officiating Father Stan Gosek. In lieu of flowers donations in Maria's memory may be made to Red Cross. ISTENVELED MAM We love you.
