KATHRYN LYNN SYLVESTER (NEE SNIDAL) Kathryn Lynn Sylvester of Fort McMurray, Alberta, formerly of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away in Edmonton on Saturday, 23 February 2008. Kathy was predeceased by her parents and grandparents, as well as her former husband, Darwin Sylvester. Kathy leaves to mourn her passing her partner Darren Hetu and his brother Reg (Wendy), both of Fort McMurray, and brother Jon (Susan) and sister Barbara (Rick) of Winnipeg, and her many friends. Born 28, October 1957, Kathy was a wonderfully warm and compassionate person to all who knew her. A talented and gifted seamstress and leather worker, 'Kat' opened a shop in Winnipeg called 'Katskins' in which to ply her craft. She later moved her business to British Columbia, eventually settling in Alberta in Fort McMurray. Kathy will be dearly missed by all, including her cat, Boo. A private interment will be held Friday, 7 March 2008, followed by a service in Winnipeg at First Lutheran Church, 580 Victor Street at 2:00 p.m.
