MARIA TABUGO Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at her residence age 84 years. She was predeceased by her husband Maximino on August 3, 2005 and daughter Erlinda on December 25, 2007. She is survived by her children, Florenda Camayan, Lilia Tabugo, Romeo, Cora, Lofti, Julia, Basil and Gloria Hare; four grandchildren, Leo Lotfi, Jasmine Lotfi, Jenny Tabugo and Shaun Tabugo; two great-grandchildren, Drayden and Kaiden all of Winnipeg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the Philippines and Germany. Our mother was very devoted to her children and grandchildren. She always made sure our needs were met. Her greatest legacy besides her family was her devotion to God and her faith always pulled her through. Lamay will be held on Monday, March 17, 2008 and Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from 6:00 p.m to 12:00 p.m. midnight at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street (prayers being said at 7:30 p.m., on Tuesday by Rev. Fr. K. Smith). Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church corner of Andrews Street and Mountain Avenue. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Rey DeLeon, Lucien Dooma, Kevin Gord, Roman Kulczycki, Isaac Murdoch and Nick Oquialda. We the family would like to thank to home care support staff and the Palliative care nurses for all their care. Special thanks to nurse Maryanne and to Kim of home care.
