Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryETHEL (LILLIAN) SYMKO Peacefully after a lengthy illness on Thursday, April 25, 2008 at the Riverview Health Centre, Ethel (Lillian) Symko passed away at the age of 85 years. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sister Carrie Benneke from California and sister-in-law Fran McDonald. Ethel was predeceased by her parents; husband Mike; her sisters, Margaret, Harriett, Pearl, Lila and Evelyn; her brothers, Fred, Jack, and Hank; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend John. Ethel served in the Canadian Armed Forces Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service . Ethel was also a member of the Fort Rouge Legion Branch 97. Interment will take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 10:45 a.m. at Brookside Cemetery. Please meet at the main gate to be directed to the burial site. Following Ethel's burial a Memorial service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 97, 426 Osborne Street at 12:00 p.m. The family would like to send a special Thank you to Pat and all the Riverview staff.
